October 29: Bearcat Edge Family Night -- Come join us at VMS for our October Family Night from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. It's Domestic Violence Awareness month and we will have a guest speaker from Abuse Alternatives. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other families, participate in a cake walk, paint pumpkins, play fall themed outdoor games, and get full on yummy food & hot cider! Check your students back-pack for the sign-up sheet! Please fill out and return the RSVP to VMS by October 17th in order to attend. You can also sign up with the QR code . Remember parents have to be in attendance in order for your child to attend.

Attention parents with children in an after-school program. There is currently a city-wide power outage that is affecting our schools. All children are safe and have what they need. We will proceed with the program per the regular schedule. Thank you.

October 1 Flu Vaccine Clinic will be at Virginia High School and Virginia Middle School October 2 Flu Vaccine Clinic will be at Virginia Primary School and Virginia Intermediate School If you would like for your child to receive their flu vaccine at school, a consent form must be filled out, signed by a parent or guardian, and returned to school.

The Bearcat Athletic Department will host a required Student-Athlete Parent Meeting-on Thursday, August 15th at 6:30pm in the VHS Auditorium. This meeting will have valuable information for all athletes and their parents regardless of their participation season. Fall sports will break out for their respective team meetings after the department meeting. On Friday, August 16, 2024 you are cordially invited to our Fall Meet The Bearcats and V-T Football Scrimmage. Gates Open 5pm with team intros at beginning at 5:45pm at Gene Malcolm Stadium. The scrimmage is slated to start at 7:30pm. Donations will be accepted at the gates to benefit both teams. Concessions and Bearcat Merchandise will be sold and other activities will be available. Come out to support all of our fall-student athletes.

All BVPS students and families are invited to attend Open House on August 12th. All four of our schools will be open during this time and we welcome you to come visit from 1:00 - 7:00 PM.
